Focus on WD is a global specialist recruiter for Workday professionals, placing them in contract and permanent roles with leading consultancies and end users.
We're currently working with a Workday Consultancy looking for a Workday Accouting Center lead to join the team on put a full time and/or part time basis, with large and small projects that need supporting.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration, deployment, and optimization of the Workday Accounting Center to meet business objectives.
- Oversee financial processes, including accounting, financial reporting, and compliance workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current processes, identify gaps, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary liaison for module-related support, updates, and enhancement requests.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and project management, to design, test, and deploy improvements.
- Drive system training initiatives to ensure user adoption and proficiency.
- Stay updated on Workday’s innovations and leverage them to optimize system capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial reporting standards while supporting audits and other governance initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Workday Accounting Center or similar financial modules.
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing Workday solutions for accounting and financial operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into strategic actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to drive collaboration and achieve outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering value through technology.
- Workday Accounting Center Certification are nice to have, but not essetntial.
