Description:
We are seeking a Wi-Fi Technician Apprentice who will be trained to perform Wi-Fi surveys using the Ekahau Sidekick. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with no prior experience but a strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and develop new skills. As a Wi-Fi Technician Apprentice, you will spend approximately 75% of your time traveling to client locations to perform surveys. When not at client sites, you will assist in our facility located in Inwood, NY 11096.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wi-Fi Surveys:
- Learn to perform comprehensive Wi-Fi surveys using the Ekahau Sidekick tool.
- Travel to various client locations to conduct Wi-Fi assessments.
- Collect and analyze data to provide accurate and detailed reports on Wi-Fi performance.
- Ensure that all surveys are conducted professionally and meet company standards.
- Warehouse Assistance:
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse.
- Support inventory management and other basic level IT tasks.
Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary; we will provide full training.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Must agree to and pass a detailed background check.
- Strong interest in technology and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Responsible, reliable, and punctual.
- Ability to problem-solve and think critically in various situations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods during surveys.
- Must be based near or willing to commute to our office in Inwood, NY 11096 when not traveling.
