Web Designer

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Working alongside clients and other members of our creative team, you’ll have the opportunity to create a variety of visuals, from billboards to business cards, logos to layouts, magazines to maps, and more. The position also works with basic web content management and simple site administration.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to perform independently within a collaborative environment, a critical thinker with a strong sense of curiosity and a can-do attitude.

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

• Enthusiasm for - and understanding of - visual communication
• A solid grasp of design principles and composition, as well as current trends and best practices in design creation
• Skill and experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
• Understanding the difference between raster vs. vector, RGB vs. CMYK, PPI vs. DPI, and the appropriate uses for PNG, JPG, EPS and PDF
• Client focused, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with clients to align on a creative vision
• Detail-oriented, with a mind for quality and accuracy
• Eagerness to learn new skills and abilities, in order to develop your professional skillset
• Willingness to receive constructive criticism
