Primary Responsibilities:
We are looking for a warranty administrator who will work with all sites and departments to make sure the warranty process is followed from beginning to the end. Flexibilty is the key.
- Communicate and work alongside every department in the company. (sales, parts, service, accounting, etc.)
- Process claims for validity and accuracy;
- Completes all manufacturer training for all manufacturers;
- Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation;
- Resubmits all rejected claims promptly;
- Prepare warranty repair orders with accuracy, legiblity and compliance to the manufacturers warranty policies and procedures;
- Ensure the adequacy of warranty paperwork and assist in getting all proper documentation in from customers if needed;
- Ensures compliance with non-returnable service parts policies and communicates to departmental managment about warranty status on a regular basis;
- Work well with three sites in South Dakota.
- 4 years of experience in the automotive and/or dealership industry of which at least 2 years were directly involved in warranty decisions, preferably in heavy duty truck/service outlet;
- 1 year of customer service experience;
- Porficiency in english;
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem solving;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- A team player;
- Profieciency in using Microsoft programs and general computer skills;
