Description:
Vice president of business development is responsible for setting company sales targets and marketing goals. Their job duties include developing production and sales goals, consulting with management about the overall monetary health of the organization, establishing new business relationships and managing current business relationship. Responsible for the identifying and prospecting potential clients, conducting market research and analyzing industry trends. Developing and implementing effective business development strategies to impact targets. Support negotiation and closing of major development deals and partnerships. Collaborate closely with inside sales, product development, operations and engineering.
Provide regular sales reports, forecast and analysis to the leadership team. Attend conferences, trade shows and industry events to network and generate new leads.
Experience in the Wire and Cable industry preferred.
