Description:
The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks applications to fill Visiting Assistant Professor (VAP) positions. Pending approval, these positions will be available effective Autumn Semester 2024. These positions are renewable annually for up to a total of three years.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required: A Ph.D. in Mathematics or related field is required at the time of hire. Candidates are expected to observe the general principle of building a culturally diverse intellectual community, in line with OSU’s Shared Values (see below).
Desired: The ideal candidate will have an excellent record in research, as well as evidence of strong teaching ability and mentoring.
