Vice President Of Engineering

This established Solar company is one of the major US solar construction companies across the states, seeking an Engineering Director within Commercial Solar Construction to drive PV design activities and ensure system sales move smoothly to high-quality installations.

This position will require an engineer with strong organizational, problem-solving solving, and interpersonal skills and will expose all aspects of the solar and energy storage industry.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the sales team to move customer contracts to system designs including complete mechanical designs and permitting.
• Produce commercial project proposals and models for energy output.
• Generate design drawings for commercial projects.
• Aid client PV system monitoring, and reporting processes.
• Review all commercial installs.
• Lead design and production of all commercial project submittal and training materials.
• Provides technical support to key clients.

Requirements:

• Experience in the Solar space.
• Familiarity with 3-phase commercial and industrial electrical services
• Electrical (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
• Familiarity with CAD design software. AutoCAD preferred
