Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth and Expansion:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals, focusing on new market opportunities and resource optimization.
- Sales Leadership: Build and oversee the sales team, providing guidance and support to maximize performance and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding into new markets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business.
- Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all functions to ensure accountability and drive continuous improvement.
Operational Leadership:
- Operational Excellence: Drive a culture of operational excellence, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and quality in all aspects of service delivery, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Process Management: Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes to streamline workflows and maximize productivity.
- Technology Implementation: Identify and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experience.
Team Leadership:
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing team across business development and operations, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Talent Development: Identify and develop talent within the teams to ensure a pipeline of skilled professionals for future needs.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication with other departments to ensure seamless alignment of revenue creation and operational activities.
Innovation and Improvement:
- Market Research: Conduct ongoing research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, informing strategic decisions.
- Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize resource utilization, minimize expenses, and maximize profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred but not mandatory; master’s degree a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior business development or operations management role, preferably within the boiler, construction, or engineering sectors.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and achieving ambitious sales and cost targets.
- Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and operational principles, including customer relationship management and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
