Description:

McKesson Medical Surgical (MMS) is seeking to add a Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Business Development who will work with broader MMS leadership and other Corporate Strategy & Business Development (CSBD) team members to develop and help implement the business unit's growth strategy. This individual would be responsible for identifying, evaluating and managing new business opportunities and will work across the MMS portfolio contributing to multiple business segments. The Vice President, CSBD will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Strategy and Marketing of McKesson Medical Surgical and will be based in Richmond, VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as a thought partner to the MMS leadership team
• Identifies strategic needs and new growth opportunities, establishes strategic plans and objectives, and prioritizes areas of focus, applies business unit context while understanding the interests and concerns of key stakeholders across the enterprise to inform a broad, McKesson-wide viewpoint
• Defines and manages multiple and complex strategic projects and business development efforts towards high quality deliverables and timelines and tangible business results
• Manages relationships with key leaders and project stakeholders throughout organization, effectively navigates process to lead, influence and reach consensus with or without formal authority or people management responsibilities, while also effectively communicating and managing expectations
• Works with MMS and corporate leadership to prioritize and drive MMS M&A activity
• Works effectively at a senior leadership level in a highly matrixed environment
• Manages a team of direct and indirect reports
