Description:
A unique and modern solution to bridge the veterinary service gap between general practice and overnight/emergency care.
Our medical vision is to provide pet care for non-life-threatening medical issues that do not require emergency treatment or overnight care, as well as offer same-day appointments if pets are unable to be seen at a general practice for time-sensitive needs such as health certificates, vaccines for boarding, etc. Appointments, drop-offs, and walk-ins are equally and enthusiastically welcomed by our highly trained team.
Our client service vision is unsurpassed compassion, communication, and convenience. We offer compassionate care in a comfortable environment and provide consistent updates throughout your pet’s visit. For your convenience, we offer online scheduling and electronic payment portals.
Our hospital team vision is dedicated to enriching team members’ careers through coaching and mentorship, providing growth opportunities, and encouraging full utilization of their skills. We strive to communicate with transparency and respect, with a genuine concern for and active focus on well-being. We collectively combat compassion fatigue and burnout by checking in on each other, facilitating creative team-building events, and collaborating during regular team meetings.
IMAGINE YOUR LIFE IN PICTURESQUE PORT ORCHARD:
Port Orchard is located on the Kitsap Peninsula between the urban settings of Seattle and the rain forests and beaches of the Olympic National Park. The Peninsula is surrounded by water, a perfect destination for boaters and water sports. Dog-friendly waterfront paths are ideal for walking, biking, or running against the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound backdrop. The downtown area provides shopping, museums, entertainment, galleries, dining, and a year-round public market. Port Orchard is an outdoor lover’s dream, with easy access via car or ferry to downtown Seattle’s vibrant cultural scene and professional sports venues.
MAKE A MEANINGFUL IMPACT IN THE PORT ORCHARD COMMUNITY AND BEYOND:
Our commitment to pets extends beyond the walls of our hospitals. Our team members give back to communities by participating in local charitable events as well as around the globe through our partnership with World Vets. Each year, we send a group of doctors and support staff abroad to help pets in need and support programs that nurture healthy relationships between people and pets. In 2021, Lakefield team members were able to participate in opening the first and only veterinary clinic in the Galapagos.
