Training Specialist

As a Training Specialist, you'll be responsible for all training and development aspects for the Operations group. Create and maintain manual and digital systems for optimizing the long-term administration, performance, and results of the demonstrative evaluation program. Manage content for new hire and training documentation. Create training curriculum to support safety, quality, and delivery along with employee development (operator, team leader, supervisor, etc.). In addition, you'll get to:

  • Collaborate with Operations leadership and Human Resources on designing and developing learning and development opportunities for the professional and factory hourly teams.
  • Manage facility wide factory hourly training records, ensuring compliance and completion per training schedules and secure record maintenance.
  • Conduct training folder and demonstrative evaluations audits and maintain database.
  • Schedule and track demonstrative evaluations on matrix report; obtain sign offs.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation presentations; oversee new hire 30-60-90-day review program; support annual performance management evaluation program.
  • Conduct new hire two week and two-month check-in sessions.
  • Coordinate and participate in new hire one month orientation program.
  • Assist supervisors with conducting training presentations related to Operations (i.e., Safety, Quality, company policies, etc.)
  • Lead ISO training goal program to support compliance; develop new methods for plant-wide communication.
  • Partner with local organizations on learning and development training programs and opportunities
