Description:
This role will play a crucial part in crafting and implementing programs that focus on employee retention, leadership development, supervisor training, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing HR Data Analytics to discern correlations between initiatives and their success.
- Collaborate with People Systems + Services to design HR reason codes, ensuring accurate data capture within the HRIS.
- Work with People Systems + Services to design e-learning modules for management through the LMS.
- Become the LMS expert, leveraging its capabilities to deliver impactful e-learning experiences.
- Develop and facilitate training programs, including performance management, leadership training, and compliance training.
- Implement training initiatives in collaboration with the People Operations team.
- Continuously identify areas of training need and develop programs to address those needs.
- Assist business leaders in developing and defining career progressions within the organization.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and take the initiative to drive incremental changes in processes and systems.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources and/or Organizational Development experience.
- Strong preference for HR experience in a union environment; prior manufacturing HR experience is advantageous.
- Experience in conducting first-line and management training.
- Proficient in creating and implementing presentations using PowerPoint or similar software.
- Solid understanding of adult learning techniques.
- Experience working with an LMS, with a preference for prior experience as an LMS administrator.
- Adept at building and creating training materials.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
