BIXBI Pet is a premium pet food company committed to enhancing pet wellness through innovative, health-focused products and transparent practices. Our products are available in Independent Pet Stores, Chewy, Amazon, Natural Grocery Stores, and select international markets.

Job Summary:

BIXBI Pet is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales growth and develop strong relationships with independent pet store accounts in the Minneapolis, MN area. This role focuses on expanding market presence, strengthening distributor partnerships, and educating customers on our premium pet food offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth & Territory Management:

  • Achieve and exceed sales goals by identifying new business opportunities and acquiring customers.
  • Call on 6-8 retail customers per day within the assigned territory.
  • Develop strategies to increase market share and brand presence.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with pet stores and distributors.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer service and sales support.
  • Utilize CRM tools for efficient customer management (experience preferred).

Product Promotion & Sales Execution:

  • Educate customers on BIXBI Pet’s premium products, conducting product demos and training.
  • Develop and execute promotions, discounts, and sales incentives.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.

Market Analysis & Sales Reporting:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance to adjust strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to the National Director of Sales on key sales metrics.

Event Participation & Industry Engagement:

  • Represent BIXBI Pet at trade shows and store events to boost brand visibility.
  • Some evening and weekend event participation may be required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Proven sales experience in pet industry or consumer goods preferred.
✔ Strong territory management and relationship-building skills.
✔ Passion for pets and knowledge of the pet food market.
✔ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
✔ Ability to analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
✔ Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
✔ Willingness to travel within the territory as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

✅ Experience in pet industry sales within the Minneapolis, MN region.
✅ Familiarity with BIXBI Pet products and pet food industry trends.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
