Responsibilities
In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing high performing field leadership teams that deliver outstanding experiences to each and every guest, and are committed to having their restaurants achieve “A” status
- Ensuring restaurants serve safe, delicious food while providing excellent service and exemplifying the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and ambience
- Teaching and validating that field leadership teams are building strong financials in their restaurants
- Setting clear priorities for field leadership teams so they can focus on creating great guest experiences and getting their restaurants to “A” status
- Making sure that field leadership teams are validating the training of all employees in their restaurants
- Recognizing adverse trends and teaching field leadership teams to react to them quickly and successfully
- Building strong relationships with and positively influencing all disciplines (People Support, Marketing, Training, Facilities, Finance, IT, and their own team); successfully leveraging these disciplines to get things done
- Partnering with support disciplines and Wynkoop for rollouts and initiatives
- Ensuring that tools are effectively used in the restaurants and providing meaningful feedback to various disciplines to improve tools as needed
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience overseeing between 35-50 locations over multiple states
- Be able to think strategically and out of the box regarding great guest experience and how to serve safe and delicious food
- Possess the ability to communicate clearly and crisply
- Be able to use a PC as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Have strong verbal, written, and general communication skills
- Possess strong supervisory and organizational skills
- Have demonstrated ability to interact easily with diverse groups of people
- Be able to think strategically, and achieve day-to-day results
- Have the ability to learn from others
- Possess thorough knowledge of and be committed to the culture and values of Chipotle
- Have knowledge of and the ability to use a PC as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Possess strong leadership skills in conjunction with a commitment to operational and training programs as well as company philosophies and practices
- Be able to provide helpful ideas and insights to other Team Directors, Executive Team Directors, Regional Directors, and other company leadership
- Have earned a B.A./B.S. in related field or have an equivalent in education and experience
- Have seven (7) years’ multi-unit experience and some Local Store Marketing experience
- Enjoy extensive travel
