Tax Manager

Description:

Venteon Finance is currently seeking an experienced Tax Manager for a leading manufacturing company located in the metro Detroit area. This position supports all domestic and international direct and indirect taxes of the Company including tax planning, tax compliance, tax accounting, acquisitions & dispositions, tax audits and other business-related filings.

Requirements of the Tax Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, master’s in taxation completed or “in process” preferred, CPA a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Tax Manager, Senior Tax Accountant or Supervisor capacity in private industry or public accounting, with a focus on international taxes and Accounting for income taxes.
• PC and network literacy, including tax preparation software, tax research software, spreadsheets, word processing and graphics software.
• Working knowledge of tax depreciation software
• Ability to do complex research and effectively communicate the results.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, team building and communication skills.
