Position Profile
- We are recruiting a skilled and experienced Systems Support Analyst with experience in IT architecture. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our systems while also actively contributing to the design and implementation of our IT architecture to support future needs. You will work closely with the IT team, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure our systems and infrastructure's smooth operation and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Provide technical support and problem resolution for end-users, address system issues, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and implement solutions.
- Work closely with the IT team and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze existing systems, and design IT architecture solutions that align with the organization's future needs.
- Develop and maintain a technology roadmap for system scalability, efficiency, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new systems, applications, and infrastructure components, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
- Perform system performance monitoring and analysis to identify bottlenecks and recommend optimization and improvement.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure security compliance, availability, and data integrity.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, evaluating their potential impact on the organization's systems and architecture.
- Provide expertise and guidance in IT governance processes, contributing to developing and enforcing IT policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors to evaluate new technologies, tools, and solutions and assist in selecting and implementing third-party products.
- Act as a liaison between end-users, the IT team, and external stakeholders, effectively communicating technical concepts and requirements to non-technical audiences.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Systems Support Analyst or in a similar role, focusing on IT architecture.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Solid understanding of IT architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF) to inform system design and implementation.
- Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, iOS, Linux), database management systems, and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, security best practices, and systems integration.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional certifications in IT architecture or relevant technologies (e.g., TOGAF, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
