Description:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other contractor and Navy activities for any potential requirements changes that could impact the CWL design, or are being considered as a future capability
- Assist in the development of new system engineering documentation
- Participate in various technical and program meetings on a weekly basis
- Support the Development, Test, Safety and Logistics teams for any questions of issues associated with CWL requirements development
- Communicate project/program issues to management, as necessary
- Review various weapon/payload interface design specifications
- Support various weapon/payload coordination and demo events
- Provide updates to existing weapon/payload interface design specifications as part of integrating various proposed changes to the interface with CWL
- Attend various technical working groups as required for interfaces, subsystems and component reviews associated with the CWL program or with those programs that interface to the CWL
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with computer system architectures, cybersecurity, Linux or embedded operating systems are desired
- US Navy submarine experience is a plus
Education/Experience
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, System Engineering with 0 to 5 years of engineering experience, or a minimum of 5 years of Submarine Combat Control Weapon System experience is required.
