Who You Are & What You’ll Do?
Establish Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) as the premier National Brand Supplier in North America with best-in-class capability in 1) driving Category growth, 2) maximizing supply chain efficiency, and 3) flawless field sales execution.
Lead and set priorities for UFS internal Sysco Business Team – a cross-functional, dynamic group of Managers charged with engaging with Sysco.
Along with the Sysco Team Lead, responsible for the co-development of the Customer Business Plan (CBP) and execution of annual, national Sysco joint business plans (JBP) which align customer needs with the strategic priorities agreed by UFS leadership. Ensure key UFS IBP and multiyear targets are being exceeded via JBP.
Develop and execute an annual/quarterly Sysco sales plan (Push Strategy), measure KPIs, and hold accountable the UFS Sales Team (four (4) Zone leaders and their nine (9) Regional Managers; 50+ UFS field sales reps) for executing the plan.
Collaborate with Unilever field teams to identify success pathways and new ways of winning across the Sysco Operating Sites and share broadly with the field teams
Raise key issues, opportunities and resource requirements to UFS Leadership with commensurate speed and a strong sense of urgency.
Deliver industry leading growth in our key categories.
Utilize Sysco Partnership Growth Insights (PGI) data to develop actionable sales insights to be used at the Sysco OpSite and Region levels.
You’re a born collaborator: Lead the Execution Plan deployment for Sysco initiatives in the sales organization. Collaborate with Unilever field teams to identify successful pathways and new ways of winning across the Sysco Operating Sites and share broadly with the field teams.
You’re a dot connector: Connect key players at Sysco OpSites, Regions, and CMU teams to UFS sales teams by building bridges that will quickly overcome sales obstacles.
You’re a changemaker: You will drive growth through a robust Customer Business Plan & Joint Business Plan with Sysco.
You’re a culture & change champion: Gain learnings from other UFS countries as well our US retail eCommerce team and actively share best practices to create the best Trade Web shop and digital activation.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree required in a related field; MBA preferred
A minimum of five years’ experience within Customer Development and Sales required
Demonstrated sales success with Sysco OpSites is required
Strong analytic, problem-solving & troubleshooting skills
Proficiency in excel spreadsheets and building sales reporting tools
Ability to effectively partner with various levels of management and leadership both internally/externally
Strategic thinker with strong relationship building skills who can work effectively, and in a highly collaborative manner
Strong communication, negotiation and project management skills
This is a remote role but you must have the ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Usually, one trip a month will be required.
