We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, supply chain management, and data analysis. As a Financial Supply Chain Analyst, you will liaison with various departments to ensure the smooth financial operation of the supply chain. You will help optimize financial processes, track supply chain costs, and analyze data to provide insights that improve overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data related to supply chain operations, including costs, cash flow, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with supply chain and finance teams to develop strategies for optimizing working capital and reducing operational costs.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities within the supply chain function.
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards to monitor the financial performance of supply chain activities.
- Work on cost control initiatives, identifying areas where financial improvements can be made within the supply chain process.
- Assist in the identification of financial risks and opportunities in the supply chain process.
- Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate potential changes in the supply chain strategy.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve decision-making.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely payments and financial transactions.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving the financial aspects of the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in financial analysis, preferably within supply chain management or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Excel (advanced), and other data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, SAP).
- Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable insights from complex data.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes, inventory management, procurement, and logistics is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
