Duties

• You will be responsible for the development and management of advanced reentry systems concept studies, capability developments, and flight demonstrations, inclusive of non-traditional payloads and missions.
• You will manage the development/demonstration life cycle from foundational concept generation and analysis, constituent technology and systems research and development, through design, development, production, and test and evaluation.
• You will formulate/execute requirements, planning factors, and budgets, drafting and execution of the technical and programmatic scope of contractual vehicles, work requests, task orders, and Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests.
• You will collaborate with the unit head for Reentry Experiments to assure the successful management of all reentry systems experiments and the reentry flight testing portfolio.
• You will support various stakeholders in the formulation and execution of requirements, planning factors, and budgets necessary to support design, development, production, and test and evaluation of reentry systems concepts and experiments.
• You will direct and participate in reviews of progress and/or issues with stakeholders.
• You will support the Reentry Systems Branch Head and United States (U.S.) Chairman of the Joint Reentry Systems Working Group (JRSWG).
• You will support evaluation and accumulation of knowledge related to reentry systems related science and technologies.
