Description:
Under the direction of the Social Marketing Manager, the Streaming Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting with executional needs for the QVC+ HSN+ streaming platform across owned and paid channels. The Streaming Marketing Strategy is a full funnel approach focused on driving existing QVC/HSN customers and new viewers/customers to the streaming platform. Goals range from raising awareness to platform traffic (DAUs – daily active users) to lead generation (email capture).
This role will be responsible for interfacing with cross-functional teams at QVC+ HSN+ and QVC/HSN including eCommerce, Merchandising, Planning, Analytics, Content and Creative. In addition, this role will collaborate with external agencies as well as media partners. You will be a key representative of Marketing in various cross-functional internal and external meetings.
What you will do
- Project manage the day-to-day administration of Social Media Marketing campaigns and initiatives across various social platforms (e.g. Meta (Instagram & Facebook), TikTok) to ensure a smooth transfer of information and optimizing workflow
- Aggregate business priorities and clearly communicates detail to the marketing teams for marketing planning purposes
- Assist with campaign execution and flighting of time-sensitive campaigns and promotions
- Partner with other Marketing team members and cross-functional teams to assist with campaign recaps, analysis, and reporting
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive social media campaign marketing calendar and plan including details on start/end dates, placement, message, costs, and offers/promotions
- Coordinates with QVC/HSN Legal teams and vendors for approval as needed
- Acts as subject matter expert on the Marketing team for the internal marketing calendar tool (Airtable)
- Assist with social media channel executions
- Coordinates marketing planning meetings
- Provides reporting and marketing summaries as it relates to marketing performance
- Help identify and analyze KPIs for marketing strategies, campaigns, events and continuously partner with manager and marketing teams to optimize each channel and the mix of customer touch points, messaging, offers and timing
What You Bring – Must Have
- 1-2 years’ experience in Organic/Paid Social and/or Digital Marketing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, eCommerce, Merchandising, or related field
- Expertise in using various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. An understanding platform-specific features, algorithms, and best practices.
- Staying updated on the latest social media trends and ideating to incorporate them creatively into content, copy and campaigns.
- The ability to work cross functionally with other team members, such as designers, editors, production teams, PR, talent management, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively over the phone, through email, and in writing. Must be an active team player within a cross-functional team. Ability to effectively interact with people and work in a team environment.
- Experience managing marketing budgets
- Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
What You Bring – Nice To Have
- The ability to create engaging and compelling content. Experience with storytelling and copywriting with a basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and the ability to efficiently coordinate campaign executions and communicate needs with external partners.
- Experience working with Media/Entertainment and/or Retail brands
- Experience working with Digital Media (Search, Online Video, Display, DOOH, Audio, etc.)
- Experience working with outside media and/or creative agencies
