Description:

The Technology Partnerships team is seeking a Head of Technology BD for Firefly / Gen AI . This role will be responsible for working across teams to define partner strategies, evaluates, and establishes strategic partnerships with key technology partners that are critical to Adobe’s success in Generative AI. These relationships will primarily focus on the largest global hyperscale cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft, Google) as well as select technology leaders in Generative AI including NVIDIA.

What you'll Do
Build and deliver new partnership deals for Firefly and Sensei Gen AI
Work cross-functionally across other strategic partnership professionals, as well as sales, legal, product management and engineering, to evaluate and establish new partnerships
Develop innovative partnerships that deliver customer and partner value and accelerate Firefly market leadership through new routes to market, expanded GTM or cost drivers, or direct partner monetization
Structure and negotiate deals, including business case and deal modeling, to support robust and meaningful Firefly / Generative AI partnerships
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to secure alignment around strategic goals
Participate in strategy and roadmap discussions to provide partnership input and assessment of long-term technology trends in the marketplace

What you need to succeed
MBA preferred, B.A./B.S. required, minimum of 10+ years of proven experience in roles such as business development, market development, or strategic partnerships
Possess a detailed knowledge of developing strategic technology relationships and associated agreements and have a successful track record evaluating and closing large, complex and lasting contractual agreements
Ability to optimally communicate and coordinate efforts across a large organization (both internally and externally)
Have a strong background in cloud and SaaS technologies and partnerships
Independent, self-starter with proven track record of success in uncertain environments and constantly evolving/emerging markets in real time
Comfortable being in an environment requiring personal intuition and responsibility, where erroneous decisions and not meeting deadlines will have a serious impact on the overall success of projects
Strong leadership skills
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $137,300 -- $247,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
