Description:
Avery Dennison is seeking a Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to join the Label and Graphic Materials North America Sales organization, specifically aligned with the Graphics business. This role will be responsible for cultivating relationships with Avery Dennison’s largest, most important clients, ensuring profitable growth, and driving sales with strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate relationships with major accounts and lead all activities related to strategic client accounts.
Develop and implement sales strategies, including sales plans and budgets for achieving goals.
Provide product recommendations, samples, technical support, pricing, and service information.
Collaborate with Marketing to execute national sales programs for product lines.
Navigate complex problems to find the best solutions for customer needs.
Develop positive relationships with internal sales teams and customers.
Implement customer-specific business alliance plans.
Travel a minimum of 60-70% for customer meetings and internal site locations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
Experience: 6+ years of experience in strategic account management or similar sales roles, with a focus on negotiating sophisticated transactions and account strategy implementation.
Skills:
Strong negotiation, financial, and business acumen.
Skilled in professional communication, including written proposals.
Detailed understanding of product and technical information.
Excellent customer service, oral, written, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google, and other business-specific software.
