As a Straightener at Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division your focus will be to:
- Ensuring customer satisfaction with on time delivery requirements by providing assembly operations per standard work procedures and within the required tact time.
- Responsible for performing assembly or non-CNC operations according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions and Quality Plans in the cell.
- Assembles ball nuts, operates small hand tools for debur operations, engraver, as needed to complete operations.
- May use saws, straightener, buffer, and overhead hoist.
- Daily communication with the team required.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
- Ability to read, follow and understand prints, MI’s and QP’s to accomplish the assigned task.
- Required to exhibit the ability to read and follow work instructions both written and verbal.
- Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
- Use of inspection equipment to include, but not limited to: Micrometers, pitch micrometers, indicator micrometers, calipers, indicators, thread gauges, length gages, and tape measures.
- The ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Must be able to compute rate, ratio to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
