Staff Accountant

Description:

Our client, a well known private institution in San Francisco – looking for interim support with the chance to convert to a permanent position on their team.

Who You Are:
 

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3-6 years of overall accounting experience (including experience working for a large public accounting firm).
• Strong understanding of General Ledger Accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite and/or SAP preferred.
  
   

What You’ll Do:
 

• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Preparing and reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Maintaining the general ledger system.
• Perform and review daily operational revenue transactions and processes.
• Work closely with external auditors.
• Work closely with staff members and serve as a trusted resource.
• Be part of ad hoc projects.
