Staff Accountant

Now recruiting on behalf of a large, global company Atlanta for a Staff Accountant. The company is stable and growing, offers a competitive compensation package, flexibility to work both in the office and remotely, and the opportunity to help drive process improvements and standardization.

The Staff Accountant will report to the Assistant Controller and have responsibilities that include: financial reporting, month end close, journal entries, reconciliations, audit support, intercompany transactions, GAAP compliance and internal controls.

The right candidate for this Staff Accountant opportunity will have:

• Bachelor's in Accounting
• CPA or CPA track preferred
• 1-3+ years of relevant experience, including a wide breadth of GL accounting experience
• Preference given to those with public accounting (audit) experience
• History of job stability and career progression.
