Sr Regional Sales Manager

 

Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Managing team of sales managers to execute regional management plan and build a pipeline of opportunities in the territory
  • Supporting and developing Sales Account Executives as Promethean’s point of contact for the relationship with stakeholders and key decision makers
  • Managing team members in developing business with new and existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Responsible for growing sales prospects and new opportunities with new and current customers in the region with the purpose of increasing revenue, margin, and market share
  • Be able to articulate the Promethean value proposition and demonstrate the benefits of Promethean solutions
  • Build and maintain strong long-lasting customer relationships
  • Forecast and track key account metrics including pipeline and lead management
  • Has full seed responsibility including accruals
  • Determine objectives for and measures the performance of Area Sales Managers
  • Develop a regional management plan
  • Responsible for ensuring the sales team strategy is executed through the development of organizational plans and policies
  • Aligning to the sales team strategy, set goals and objectives to increase new revenue opportunities
  • Work together with the Marketing department on activities to drive revenue within Sales
  • Actively collaborate with Sales Leadership to execute Promethean’s sales and market visions to ensure further market leadership
  • Regular reporting and forecasting of sales results into RVP to help develop strategic priorities

Requirements:

  • Degree level preferred but not essential
  • 8+ years of selling experience in either the education or technology markets
  • 3+ yeas experience with people management and employee development
  • Experience of selling complex solutions
  • Knowledge of the education market
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Travel and overnight stays required
