Sr Product Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Support the entire PD process by owning the day to day tasks from concept to launch, managing key stakeholders to ensure timely launches.Setup and maintain all Product Development/Packaging folders and files, including product development trackers, vendor directory, ingredients library,testing, etc.Manage and lead all internal communication as it relates to develop product briefs, product profile, formula evaluation, copy and claims.Partner with the marketing team to develop compelling and accurate product storytelling.Oversee all development costs and product margins for new product development.Manage R+D / Labs and any third-party vendors.Develop strong consumer & clinical, before & after testing plans.Partner with Regulatory on all product requirements including: ingredient list, packaging, artwork, claim languages and global compliance.Collaborate with creative & packaging teams on creation of new packaging and product artwork for primary/secondary packaging.
Experience & Qualifications:6+ years of Product Development experience in skincare and cosmetics industry.Skincare Research & Development or Chemist experience preferred.Proven track record of successful and on time product launches.Experience in people management, training, and development.Knowledgeable about skincare and developing highly effective productsAbility to succinctly present product information and options to Founder + Executive leadershipMust be creative, innovative, and be able to articulate ideas clearly
