Sr. Manager Sales

 

Description:

The Sr. Manager Sales Pricing Analytics leads strategic programs to optimize Vertiv margins. They lead a team to analyze market pricing and work with the salesforce and offering teams to properly price Vertiv quotes. They will also develop analytical reports & tools to develop pricing strategies and enforce pricing policies.

This role is responsible for price in North America across all product & service offerings. They also interface with peers in the LATAM region & pricing peers across the globe including Vertiv’s Pricing Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities
 

  • Serve as the central pricing approval authority for Vertiv products and services
  • Manage and administer pricing sales policies and ensure SOX compliance
  • Develop analytical tools and models to identify pricing trends and areas to improve quote pricing
  • Create pricing strategies to improve margin and revenue for the business
  • Measure gross margin, price realization, and price leakage across the Americas region
  • Develop work instructions for those performing gross margin calculations to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Act as a trusted price advisor for the Vertiv offering & sales teams
  • Supervise a team of pricing professionals in both the United States and the Philippines.
  • Coordinate AMER portion of global activities with the Vertiv Pricing Center of Excellence.
  • Interface with offering management to develop and administer list pricing
     

Qualifications
 

  • BA or BS
  • MBA preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience with data analysis and creating analytical insights
  • Knowledge of pricing concepts & theories
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • 5-7 years of experience
