Description:
Essential Responsibilities
- Prospect existing accounts for repair sales opportunities
- Consult with customers on upgrades relating to enhancing safety or reliability
- Survey existing accounts for obsolescence – propose, educate, and consult with customer
- Responsible for independent site surveying of elevator equipment
- Ensure that all mechanic’s leads are proposed within 5 business days
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers
- Follow-up on Proposals until formally dispositioned
- Partner with Client Relationship Managers to identify repair leads with existing customer base.
- Create detailed capital planners for all customers
- Manage opportunities in the CRM pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
Basic Qualifications
- Proven track record selling and negotiating service contracts
- Comfortable with cold-calling current and future customers with repair opportunities
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
- Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
