Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-end illustrations, digital and print graphics, creative layouts, and video content that will elevate our client's brand and captivate their audience. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of the brand and delivering top-quality creative assets.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with communications colleagues and leadership to create brand-compliant collateral and content that supports corporate and internal communications.
- Typical projects day-to-day would include design/graphic/video support for varied employee and corporate communications including - weekly e-newsletter, intranet, posters, presentations, infographics, email campaigns, social media, plus general content and correspondence.
- Create video and edit videos from curated assets (stock footage, self-shot videos from stakeholders), including the creation of intros and outros, overlaying sound, color correction, etc.
- Edit and mix audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure high-quality audio for video projects.
- Effectively storyboard concepts for functional leaders beyond communications team-take a sketch or idea and bring it to life across channels and materials.
- Conduct research and gather inspiration from various sources to stay informed about design trends and industry best practices.
- Manage and maintain graphic files, including photos, videos, logos and art based on governance guidelines and structure.
- Work as an integral part of the team to deliver designs that meet the needs of diverse end-user groups.
- Prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or similar field or 5+ year equivalent work experience.
- PC based mastery of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom,Premier Pro. Understanding of After Effects required.
- Creative thinker with strong artistic skills -should have the ability to take concepts discussed in strategy meetings and bring them to life in a creative visual way that supports both the brand and project objectives.
- Familiarity with digital file formats to support web and electronic communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively present ideas, both verbally and visually.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Adaptive and flexible multi-tasking capabilities and ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to deliver accurate work on time with minimum supervision.
- Excellent portfolio demonstrating creative abilities - those without portfolio will not be considered.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated copywriting and/or editing skills a plus.
- Previous experience utilizing project management software like asana.
