Description:
The Financial Planning & Analysis department is responsible for company-wide financial analysis, forecasting and strategic planning. The Senior Financial Analyst position will be involved in monthly forecasting, month-end results preparation, annual operating plans, multi-year strategic plans, monitoring of business unit operating performance, preparing reports for the Senior Management team and Board of Directors, and various ad hoc and modeling projects.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited, to the following:

- Responsible for preparation of consolidated monthly financial and operational results including variance analysis and review of underlying data to ensure accuracy and integrity of information presented.
- Work closely with business units and functional teams to gain insight into performance drivers and impact on results and subsequent forecasts.
- Assist in the coordination and development of forecasts, annual operating and strategic plan financials including compiling information gathered from multiple sources and developing and maintaining financial models.
- Coordinate with many levels throughout the organization to gather and interpret data to be used in ad hoc analyses that influence business decisions and contribute to business cases
- Demonstrate effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and senior levels of management.
- Consistently strive and reach across the organization to gain a deeper understanding of the business.
- Challenge data given, anticipate “next level” questions and prepare data accordingly.
- Improve current processes, gain efficiencies, and add value.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
- MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate).
- 7+ years of relevant finance experience.
- Advanced experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions and demonstrated experience managing such mechanisms to an end result.
- Demonstrate effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and senior levels of management.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, OneStream, Oracle preferred.
