Sr Estimator

Description:

We are seeking a US-based Senior Estimator / Costing with extensive expertise in sheet metal fabrication to provide accurate cost analyses and ensure precise project estimates. This role involves close collaboration with our US clients, suppliers, and manufacturing team to deliver accurate, competitive pricing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation, material take-offs, and project management, playing a key role in evaluating project specifications, preparing detailed estimates, and ensuring accurate pricing for both existing and new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse blueprints, technical drawings, and project specs to estimate material, labor, and time costs.
• Prepare and present cost estimates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure estimates align with manufacturing capabilities.
• Stay updated on market trends, material prices, and industry standards.
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Ensure estimates are aligned with client expectations and company profitability goals.

Qualifications:

• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication estimating within the US market.
• Knowledge of US industry standards, materials, and pricing.
