As the Senior Director of Global Analyst Relations, you will work closely with Product Management, Go-To-Market, Product Marketing, Communications, and Sales stakeholders to optimize, implement, and execute the analyst relations strategy for our portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of Communications, you will develop and drive analyst relations strategy; build strategic relationships, enhance market perception, and communicate important platform and solution updates. Your leadership will influence analysts' views of Palo Alto Networks, contributing to long-term growth in various industries and geographic markets. This leader will turn a deep understanding of our roadmap and growth strategy into high-impact engagement with leading analyst firms.
This is a highly visible role and you’ll be a trusted partner to senior leaders across the organization, earning your seat at the strategy table. We’re looking for someone as comfortable developing a strategy as they are executing against a plan.
Your Impact

- Lead a team of senior and early in career analyst relations professionals, and inspire them to deliver their best in a fast-paced environment
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with influential industry analysts, shaping strategic priorities and initiatives
- Set and drive performance benchmarks to establish Palo Alto Networks as a market leader, reflected in analyst reports and content
- Develop an engagement plan to facilitate continuous feedback with key analysts through inquiries, briefings, and advisory sessions
- Regularly communicate the company’s strategy, platform and solution roadmaps to analysts
- Coordinate and manage analyst briefings, inquiries, and events involving cross-functional team members and key executives, including on-site advisory days and participation in key analyst events and summits
- Track analysts' competitive analyses to inform product management and marketing strategies, and share insights internally
- Leverage analyst insights and references effectively to enhance Palo Alto Networks’ market presence, demand generation, and sales enablement
- Monitor analyst report calendars for upcoming research reports and coverage
- Collaborate cross-functionally to craft comprehensive analyst report responses, including questionnaires, presentations, and demos
- Oversee all aspects of analyst relations operations, including contract and budget management
- Collaborate with global communication and marketing teams in all of the above
- Travel requirement: Up to 30%
- Qualifications
Your Experience

- At least 12 years of AR and/or communications experience, with significant experience leading AR teams in the technology industry, preferably cybersecurity
- Experience advising and partnering with C-Suite executives on communications with the analyst community
- Proven experience in analyst relations research management – breaking into new categories and optimizing current inclusions
- Strong understanding of the analyst firm landscape, with a proven track record of collaborating with analyst firm executives
- Experience directing agencies
- A respected people manager, with experience building (and inspiring!) teams, along with the ability to build relationships with senior executives
- Highly organized and motivational, overseeing timely, first-rate execution
- A team player and creative thinker, with experience working with global teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
