Job Details
 

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Facilitate learning in an elementary self-contained classroom setting
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
   

Qualifications
 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Florida ESESpecial Education certification, must be licensed to teach grades Pre-Kindergarten through 6th Grade
• Experience with autism and specific learning disabilities required
• Experience with students who have moderate-severe needs preferred
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities
