Job Duties : Design and build complex systems that can handle large volumes of data and transactions. Lead the successful execution of technical aspects of team release plans and validate the technical plans that the team produces. Demonstrate the technical credibility to negotiate interfaces and resolve issues. Lead the team by applying modern technologies, design patterns, and Engineering Best Practices to deliver new projects for your team. Organize and finalize all of the required documentation for a project, including user guides, troubleshooting information, configuration guides, runbooks, and best practices. Create and approve test strategies and plans for the Continuous Hammer team to ensure the quality of technical solutions, paying particular attention to non-functional aspects of the delivery. Work with other teams on larger projects to ensure that features from all teams seamlessly integrate. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements : (1) designing and building complex enterprise software systems; (2) Technical execution of Software release plan; (3) validation of technical plans; (4) Design patterns; (5) Database management systems; (6) Computer networks; (7) Natural language processing; (8) Data structures; and (9) Algorithms.

Skills may be gained through academic coursework or employment experience. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
