Responsibilities
Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Engineering assignments/projects.
Works with Senior Advisor to define standards, patterns and frameworks to deliver the initiatives.
Participates in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, from requirement gathering to design and implementation, to ensure business needs are being addressed.
Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
Focuses on providing thought leadership within Information Management but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business.
Engage in production support research and resolution recommendations, as required
Participates in process improvement and cross-departmental IT initiatives.
Qualifications
Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelors in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience and technical knowledge.
5+ years proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
In-depth knowledge of Front-end languages and libraries (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, JQuery)
Experienced in database, web servers and UI/UX design
Docker experience a plus
CI/CD a plus
Azure DevOps, GitHub, TFS
Exposure to Architectural Patterns and Development Best Practices
Unit Testing, Test Driven Development and use of mocking frameworks.
Angular 5+ a plus, .net Core
Experience building in Event Driven Architecture a plus
Familiarity with the Manufacturing Application Development preferred
Experience working in Agile SDLC
