Description:
The HRIS (Human Resources Information System) team sits at the core of Rippling’s system. It enables companies to set up the most important parts of their organizational structure – including departments, entities, teams, levels, job families, business partners, and work locations. It’s responsible for the experiences that allow employers to perform key actions like onboarding & offboarding new team members as well as making changes to their employment information. Lastly, it powers the platform that propagates (or “Ripples”) all this employee data, and any changes to it, to our downstream 1st and 3rd party products. Simply put, without a well functioning HRIS platform, there’s no “Ripple”-ing.
