Description:
We are looking for an exceptional software engineer who is passionate about developing services and solutions that enables business process automation and improving member and employee experience . As a Software Engineer II you will be building cloud based automation solutions on cloud platforms like Azure using C# or Java and other modern SaaS/PaaS solutions like Appian, Workday and Power Platforms. You will be a keen learner and a team player enthusiastic about solving challenges for our customers using technology and a drive for continuous improvement.
What you’ll do:
- Work with the product and business teams to build business process automation and corporate services solutions for Premera on cloud platforms like Azure .
- Develop and modify code and system set-up based on program specifications using C# or other languages.
- Work on at least one of the SaaS/PaaS platforms – Appian or Workday to support employee experience, finance or business process automation work streams.
- Work with a system improvement mindset. Provide technical advice to the team as and when needed.
- Produce appropriate documentation to support evidence of completion of enhancement and production support activities.
- Participate in educational opportunities to build new skillset; have a learning mindset.
What you’ll bring:
- Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree plus 1-4 additional years of relevant experience. (Required)
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles, and skills to utilize one or more programming languages (Required)
- Experience with Azure and a programming language like C#, Java (Required)
- Experience with live site culture.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile delivery model.
- Exposure to restful API’s and creating services for integrations.
- Ability to communicate well and represent your team to other teams or leadership.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies per business needs.
