We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer with a strong background in building distributed systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems that power our real-time personalization marketing engine. Adobe Journey Optimizer includes an omnichannel orchestration canvas which allows marketers to harmonize marketing outreach with one-to-one customer engagement. Position is located in the San Jose office at least 50 % of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems based on Java.

Design and implement distributed systems, including data storage, caching, and communication protocols.

Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives .

Optimize performance and scalability of backend systems to ensure high availability and fast response times.

Identify and troubleshoot issues in distributed systems, including debugging and resolving production incidents.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in backend development and distributed systems and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery in our systems and processes.
