Description:
This role works directly with the Director of Marketing. The Strategist will be responsible for creating campaigns in alignment with client goals and set media plans. They will be an integral member of the marketing team with a primary focus on lead generation and customer acquisition efforts on Meta and LinkedIn.
The Social Media Strategist must be a critical thinker who is able to efficiently prioritize a high-volume of work. They must be a self-starter who is comfortable owning campaign execution and management.
Responsibilities
● Support client goals for lead acquisition through building and optimizing ad campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn
● Daily or weekly review of running campaigns to ensure proper functioning
● Clearly, professionally, and confidently discuss social media marketing strategy and data insights with internal teams, analysts, external resources, and clients
● Be able to follow set media plans for campaign spend and consistently ensure efforts are on pace
● Build and execute high-quality campaigns, running a/b tests, and own ongoing optimization efforts
● Help to manage media budgets including confirming actuals vs. plan and querying anomalies.
● Effectively oversee multiple, concurrent campaigns, each supporting a wide array of programs, campaigns, and tactics
Requirements
● Minimally 2-3 years of experience with campaign execution in Meta and LinkedIn - expert level
● Familiarity with both static and video ads
● Knowledge of and experience with remarketing, lead gen forms, lookalikes, and other general audience targeting options
● Demonstrated experience using platform data to summarize and report campaign performance and optimization opportunities
● Self-directed and highly motivated go-getter and team player
● Agency experience is desirable but not necessary
● Experience with higher education or an industry with a long consideration period is a bonus
