Social Media Manager

 

Description:

The Foster School of Business is seeking a Social Media Manager to join its marketing and communications team. The Social Media Manager will work with the marketing team and faculty to produce and distribute creative content across established and emerging social media channels). This role is responsible for engaging Foster’s audiences through organic and paid strategies to increase brand awareness, attract new students and communicate the excellence of our programs and faculty to existing students and alumni. This is a key position within the marketing team that will contribute to a culture of innovation and collaboration with measurable results.

What You Will Do:
Social media production and engagement (90%)
 

  • Work with various internal partners, including faculty, student groups and stakeholders, to manage multiple content production and distribution workflows, ensuring alignment with best practices, the Foster mission and strategic goals.

  • Create paid social media content to support marketing campaigns.

  • Develop and maintain social media guidelines and best practices.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of social media trends relevant to higher education.

  • Create graphics for use on social media.

  • Measure and analyze post-performance data to inform future marketing campaigns and increase engagement. Regularly gather and analyze key performance metrics, communicating results and actionable insights to leadership.

  • Manage social media accounts for the Dean of the Foster School of Business.
