Chewy is looking for a Social Advertising Manager to support our social media and digital marketing efforts! The role’s primary focus is the execution of large-scale social media buys on TikTok through data-driven customer segments, advanced behavioral targets and tailored creative. Joining a team of platform authorities who are in ad platforms every day, the role includes campaign set-up, day-to-day campaign management, supervising bids/budgets/ad set performance, and optimizing against our target metrics. The ideal candidate is relentless, data-driven, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role sits within our driven Brand Social Media Marketing team that works collaboratively on performance and brand marketing strategies to drive full funnel activations on TikTok. We are looking for someone who is equally passionate about marketing technology, data analysis, platform function, audience segmentation, and creative strategy!
What You’ll Do
- Develop paid TikTok strategies, including building a full-funnel marketing approach, from brand awareness to conversion
- Analyze campaign performance, identify trends and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement at a daily cadence
- Partner with Organic Social team and Performance Marketing team to drive synergy across platforms and build a streamlined user experience
- Work across multiple teams to manage social creative briefing and delivery
- Partner with platform account management teams to drive campaign performance and ensure campaigns are using the latest ad technology
- Utilize relevant 1st and 3rd party audience segments and recommend tailored creative and landing page experiences for testing
- Implement structured A/B tests around creatives, audiences and bid strategies
- Partner with Marketing Analytics and Product teams to troubleshoot technical bugs or develop performance monitoring, reporting, or tracking needs
- Balance multiple projects and prioritize time while working in a multifaceted, fast-paced, and growing organization without structured processes in place
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, economics, mathematics, finance or related field
- Proven experience in Paid Social advertising
- Experience leading large-scale paid social e-commerce focused campaigns and implementing campaign testing
- Technical skills to lead product ads and product feed health
- Strong understanding of major platform algorithms, ad products, and optimization levers (Experience with TikTok and TikTok Ads Manager a strong plus)
- A steadfast desire to supervise and optimize to performance objectives
- Ability to thrive in gray area and independently chart a course for execution
- Intermediate Excel skills (basic SQL skills a plus)
- Experience with mobile app ecosystem, including tracking in-app events, app analytics, campaign optimization, creative, and deep linking a plus
- Intermediate Google Analytics skills (or similar analytics platform)
