Description:
With over three years as an established Ericsson Production Site, the NPI Process team at the US 5G Smart Factory is looking for an SMA Producibility Engineer with established knowledge of Ericsson products and processes to develop, implement and maintain cost efficient, ergonomic and safe PCBA production and repair processes, select equipment, and develop tools in accordance with generic technology requirements and products specification.
What you will do
- Define and develop PCBA process for new product introduction, ramp-up, and product maintenance phases
- Validate producibility aspects of new products' design, with a focus on production processes from a quality and efficiency perspective
- Contribute in NPI project teams covering process-related areas
- Analyze PCBA product quality data to define root causes
- Supply the PCBA producibility aspects feedback loop between Design for Manufacturing function and Product Engineering Units
- Verify new components design and their specifications compatibility with standard PCBA processes
- Give production requirements setting and global design rules update process from supply perspective
- Develop and innovate production processes,
- Take lead responsibility for the PCBA production end results and take improvement decisions
- Take on coordination of local SMA engineering team activities on prototyping builds
- Participate in Ericsson global SMA Technology and Producibility related forums

Essential Qualifications
- Prior experience working directly with Ericsson technology and processes
- SMA technology knowledge or related work experience
- Understanding about DFM (Design for Manufacturing) process
- Knowledge of quality assurance methods and standards
- Familiarity with SMA components and manufacturing processes
- Supply Chain & Supply Process knowledge
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Innovative and adaptable, great teammate and inclusive demeanor
- English language proficiency
- Good presentation and communication skills

- BA or MA degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
