Simulation Support Lead

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a results-driven and dedicated Simulation Support Lead to join our Global Security team at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX. This role will be supporting the Army's - Aerial Combat Defense Capabilities (ACDC) program.

What You Will Do

• Develop new and/or integrates existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models.

• Develop software that simulates behavior of users and systems.

• Develops, integrates and uses graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.

• Model operational environments via computer simulation and provide decision support for alternative architectures.

• Perform operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis.

• May build and design training models.

• May develop software that simulates behavior of users and systems.

• Develop, codify, and test virtual models for vehicles, sensors, actuators, and auxiliary equipment in a hydrodynamic simulation environment.

• Create/enhance virtual worlds for fully integrated mission simulation.

• Support development and integration of modeling and simulation standards into company processes.

• Set-up, perform, and analyze hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulations to support various projects, tests and exercise events.

• Develop and implement solutions for difficult problems involved in areas of assignment.

• The duties described herein cover major duties as required. However, this does not exclude the requirement of performing related duties under normal conditions, and other duties directed by supervision.

• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

• Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements.

• Determine project schedule by consulting with subject matter experts; studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.

• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions

• Define, generate, and review project requirements documentation

What You Must Have

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

• Must currently have and be able to maintain an active Secret Security Clearance.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field.

• IAT Level II Certification (Security +)

• 5 years of experience with IAMD virtual training systems to include experience with Mission Training Center (MTC) Warfighter Exercise domain, LVC Simulation architectures and exercises, Network and Systems Administration.

• 5 years of experience with testing environments, test plan writing, test environment design, and test execution, analysis and reporting.

• Experience in project management of personnel and resources.

• Experience with tactical data sets and communications in an IAMD environment.
