Description:
The purpose of this project is to help design and carry out a full study on gender at the WBG, based on the last 30+ years of data. This project will build on various analyses conducted in the past, such as the “Compensation, Diversity, and Inclusion” paper (2016), “Workforce Insight on Gender” (2017), and the WB “Staff in Operations Gender Action Plan (SOGAP)” (2019).
While we will focus primarily on gender, as this diversity dimension is one of the most easily tracked, the ultimate objective will be to develop a framework that can be used across any demographic dimension with sufficient data. This will allow us to go beyond staff surveys and measure concretely how diverse, equitable, and inclusive we are, using quantitative metrics.
The Consultant will be responsible for:
a) Providing technical support in developing simulation models to provide insight into future trends or outcomes based on historic and current patterns;
b) Providing high-level guidance on statistical methods;
c) Advising on the use of data applications and modern analytical tools;
d) Supporting measurement and communication of results;
e) Providing quality control for the final deliverable;
f) Sharing best practices and contributing with strategic advice on the formulation of key research questions; and
g) Assisting the team in assessing the impact of initiatives or policy changes against intended outcomes.
