RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for all aftermarket service sales to Vertiv customers within an assigned Vertiv office.
Actively seek out opportunities to secure warranty and service contract extensions for our core products, including Thermal and A/C Power systems
Engage in face-to-face sales meetings with customers to promote Vertiv's offerings and expand our market presence.
Expand Vertiv’s presence in electrical testing, management service contracts, and other one-time services. \
Collaborate and integrate with all Lines of Business (LOBs) within an assigned Vertiv office as well as the Inside Sales team with a focus not limited to Channel, Power, and Thermal product sales.
Maintain the contracts management process, including monthly activity and production reports. Share win/loss data with leadership and prepare a gap-analysis report when quotas are not met, along with a plan to reach them. Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline and track progress through the Vertiv CRM system.
Work towards improving the overall sales efficiency in a team-based environment.
Oversee accounts of various sizes, including both small/medium and large, within the designated territory.
Identify growth opportunities by identifying new service opportunities not listed within this document.
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years proven sales experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in a business related or technical field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to hunt and farm new accounts.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
Willingness to travel and explore new markets
