Service Sales Business Development Director

 

Description:

• Design, implement and monitor business development program including campaigns and marketing events/webinars with a direct goal of generating new business pipeline

• Interface on a daily basis with presales, inside sales, partners and TPA consultants providing business development related analysis and support

• Work closely with inside sales teams to design and run campaigns and build meaningful pipeline of new business opportunities

• Participate in (and sometimes lead) sales cycles on behalf of the firm for business development, partnership arrangements, presales/bids with private equity firms and corresponding portfolio companies

• Provide ongoing program management support including review of weekly business development efforts and maintaining campaign performance

• Establish and maintain relationship with industry, trade and professional organizations to enhance visibility of the firm in the private equity marketplace

 

Qualifications :

• Looking for mature, responsible and experienced business development specialist to complement existing private equity team

• Strong academic credentials with deep knowledge of business growth strategy and the risk/return characteristics of private equity investment opportunities

• Experience in selling into private equity (or portfolio companies) is required

• Previous transaction experience with Private Equity and portfolio companies is preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Clear, concise writing skills

• Previous engineering / IT services or consulting experience preferred
