Description:
In this position, you will:
- Manage the daily operations of the service center and arrange for maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Monitor transactions and ensure compliance to business rules, policy, and procedures; ensure accuracy and appropriateness of transactions.
- Maintain a system which accounts for and ensures the security of all money/assets; assist in budget preparation and oversee purchasing.
- Assist staff in serving customers, resolving conflicts, and providing technical expertise.
- Enforce labor contracts and human resources rules/procedures.
- Evaluate the performance of staff, take appropriate action on disciplinary matters, verify and monitor staff proficiency, identify staff development needs, oversee training and education activities, and conduct staff meetings.
- Provide leadership to further department-based strategies that align with county goals, mission and core values for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Need to have:
- Four years or more of experience managing operations, processes, and/or systems in a government-business records management or service delivery environment and one year or more of supervisory/lead experience.
- Note: Education in business, public administration, or another field appropriate to the position may be substituted for the operations, processes, and/or systems management experience on a year-for-year basis.
