The role of Senior SEO Manager is a leadership position within the Search Engine Optimization team. Reporting to senior management, this position will be responsible for overseeing relationships with key clients, developing customized growth strategies, executing both technical and content-related SEO optimizations, and mentoring junior team members with potential for team management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be capable of working independently and in teams, and have a strong grasp of advanced SEO techniques.

Key responsibilities include building data-driven, keyword-focused content strategies by analyzing and optimizing client-owned content and generating new SEO-driven content recommendations. The Senior SEO Specialist will also be tasked with conducting and presenting audits to prospective clients, leading strategy for large-scale accounts, identifying training opportunities, and refining internal processes within the team. Experience in team management and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute tailored SEO campaigns for clients across various industries, including SaaS and e-commerce
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and implement holistic content strategies
• Produce performance reports and educate clients on the impact of different SEO initiatives
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members on their projects and career progression
• Assist in the continuous improvement of internal processes and training resources

What We Are Looking For:

• 6+ years of SEO experience (agency preferred)
• Mastery of crawling and auditing tools (SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, AHrefs, Moz, or similar)
• Strong ability to analyze data and organic performance (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Trends, PageSpeed Insights, etc.)
• Exposure to off-page and listing management platforms (Yext, Google Business Profile, etc.)
